Sophie Foundation has been granted ANBI status by the Dutch Tax Authority/Belastingdienst effective March 12th, 2019. ANBI stands for “Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling” or “Public Benefit Organisation”. This means that natural and legal persons making donations to Sophie Foundation may deduct their gifts from their Dutch income tax or corporate income tax.
